GROUNDHOG DAY

Groundhog Day is a traditional festival celebrated in the United States and Canada on February 2, midway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. In traditional weather lore, if a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day and cannot see its shadow because the weather is cloudy, winter will soon end. If the groundhog sees its shadow because the weather is bright and clear, it will be frightened and run back into its hole, and the winter will continue for six more weeks. America´s most famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, live in Punxsutawney,Pennsylvania, USA.

Song "GroundHog Day" by Joey Jelatin!

Lyrics:

I'm not a Squirrel
I'm not a Guinea Pig
Yeah they both look like me
Ooo, But I'm twice as big

'Cause I'm a GroundHog
Got my own Holiday (Ground Hog Day!!)
Yeah I'm a Groundhog
And this is Groundhog Day
I really hope I don't see my shadow
For your sake

Every year in February
I look out of my home
To see what I can see

Sometimes I see nothing at all
that's good news for
Spring, Summer and Fall

Sometimes when I see my Shadow..
6 more weeks of Winter - Oh No

I'm a GroundHog
Got my own Holiday (Ground Hog Day!!)
Yeah I'm a GroundHog
And this is Groundhog Day
I really hope I don't see my shadow
Today!
